Officer William Ahumada

William Ahumada – Basic P.O.

Officer Ahumada attended high school in Little Rock, AR at Oak Grove High School. In 2011 he enlisted with the Army National Guard where he served until June of this year, 2017. During his service he became certified as a machine gunner, grenadier, and an anti-tank weapons specialist. In 2015 he attended the East Texas Police Academy and upon graduation went to work for the Longview Police Department. In 2017 he was hired here at the White Oak Police Department as a patrolman on the night shift. Officer Ahumada works well with his fellow officers and handles his work in a professional, yet friendly manner. The city benefits from Officer Ahumada’s talents in other ways as well. He volunteered to join the agency’s bike patrol team and began participating with that in 2019. He is also bilingual and he has shown an eagerness to offer assistance in communicating with Spanish speakers when needed for any officer, from any agency, and at any time in order to provide justice for all victims and to help with investigating crimes.
